The Protection Cosmos is made of Jasper - a member of the Chalcedony mineral class, here polished into small 6mm beads. Jasper is an opaque version of quartz with a vitreous luster and opaque transparency. Jasper also comes in shades of green, yellow, orange, yellow, and brown depending on the stone's iron content.
Red Jasper is an ancient stone with a long history of healing. For centuries it has been celebrated as a talisman for magicians, scholars and scribes. It was also a favored stone of warriors setting out into battle, those who needed strong healing properties and a blood connection on the battlefield. Native Americans also have a long history with Red Jasper, turning to it as a way to reignite health and to bring about rebirth.
The Jasper Cosmos holds great grounding forces and is considered to be a stone of endurance and nurturing.

Lava Stone is easily the oldest stone in the world, coming from the core of the Earth. As the lava bubbles to the surface and cools, it becomes porous and black, giving the stone a recognisable and aesthetic natural design.
